Frequently Asked Questions

Do you ship internationally?

If you’d like to place an international order, please reach out to us through the contact form.

What do you use to ship your products?

When possible, JENNA PHILPOTT STUDIOS re-uses and upcycles shipping materials. We also use recyclable or biodegradable shipping stuff. We try to lighten our footprint as much as possible at all stages of making your items. You might find your mug wrapped in bubble wrap from a shipment of paper received a few weeks ago at the studio. Your box might be cut and made out of another one used to ship clay. Your tube with original art may be in a cardboard tube with paper tape on its caps.  We may use material that doesn’t fit any of these categories, but that is only when it is necessary to ensure your purchase arrives as safely as possible.

What is your return policy?

We do not accept returns. We will, of course, work with you if there is a major complication or error on our part. Please note, there will be a 20% restocking fee for any major complication or refund that is determined to be the responsibility of the buyer.

What do I do if my package hasn’t been delivered?

Check your tracking number. This is automatically emailed to the corresponding email address (to which you made the purchase) as soon as your shipping label is created.

If the shipping message connected to your tracking number states: “label has been created, waiting on arrival at USPS facility” (or something of this nature), this means that your items are being prepared for shipment at JENNA PHILPOTT STUDIOS and will be delivered to the United States Postal Service soon.

Check the location of your package. If your parcel has not moved for over a week, contact the United States Postal Service to find out the most up-to-date information. They can also provide you with further instructions, should you need them. (Please remember that your item can remain in Customs for up to 90 days. We know that this sounds excessive, but there is nothing that we can do to speed up this process.)

If you have already contacted the United States Postal Service and still need further assistance, we are happy to try and help you. If you have already started a claim with the USPS, please provide us with the claim number, along with your name, order number, and date of purchase. We will do our best to assist you.

Please understand that while we do our very best to make the shipping process straightforward, after packages are delivered to the United States Postal Service, they are out of our control. Once the package leaves our hands, it is technically your property, meaning that we are able to assist you in the claim filing process, but we do not have the capability to control the location of your package. If and when the item is deemed lost by the United States Postal Service, a refund will be issued. If one or all of your items are Made to Order: please refer to the timeframe allotted for

Jenna Philpott Studios uses upcycled, recycled, or easy-to-recycle shipping material. You might receive an order wrapped in re-used bubble wrap from a glaze company. What is the shipping time for commissions and special orders?

Commissions and special orders tend to be shipped within 4-8 weeks after an order is placed, especially if you have a ceramics or porcelain order. We'll make sure to keep you updated on the progress of your wares, but if you have a question about your order, feel free to get in touch with us through our

What about taxes and VAT?

Are the products handmade?

By purchasing from JENNA PHILPOTT STUDIOS  you acknowledge that each item is handmade and will show the marks of this process. Each is unique, bearing the same colors and similarities, with differences in applications of glaze and slight variations in size.  All wares are made with attention to detail including remnants of the hand at work and intentional “imperfections”.  Likewise, Cyanotypes and other Original Art will bear “maker’s marks.” The paper goes through intensive processes when used and that is part of the beauty JENNA PHILPOTT STUDIOS celebrates.
