Ditchweed Cyanotype, white ink - one of a kind

$850.00

When I was a kid I used to like wandering in the ditches that edged my uncles’ farms. The mid summer grasses scratched my scrawny legs but I didn’t care. It was quiet but busy with the buzz of bugs and critters like frogs and hoppers of all sorts. One of my uncles used to say I was “in the weeds” but not in the sense of getting lost. More of the sense of finding things in the quiet.

Last year, I totally embarrassed my kids while I was carrying home these weeds and waving to neighbors. We got them on the side of the road on a lovely walk we took here in the Pacific Northwest.
